~ Circa 1880, Biedermeier ~

  • This is a stunning, collectable piece.
  • 800 silver purity with a light gold wash.
  • The locket opens at the back. The glass sits in the frame and is removalbe, so care needs to be taken when replacing photos. There are chips in the glass (around the border), which are not visible when the frame is closed.
  • There are dents on the pendant, as shown in the photos.
  • Overall, the piece is in very good antique condition.
