Description
The bracelet is sterling silver and the ornate FOB is a silver type metal, not sterling. The ring connected to the bracelet clasp bears three hallmarks. The first mark is a lion rampant (standing on hind legs) which is the Scottish mark for sterling silver 925/1000 purity, followed by the three-towered Edinburgh castle and the letter “y” in a style signifying the period 1753-4. There is also a maker’s mark “RUCK”, also stamped onto the connecting ring.
